
Sheri Strickler
Sheri Strickler works in all aspects of the firm’s commercial and employment litigation practices. Ms. Strickler works on behalf of employees who have been affected by workplace discrimination and retaliation. Ms. Strickler has advocated for clients with claims under Title IX of the Education Amendments Act, Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and state anti-discrimination laws. Ms. Strickler also litigates bankruptcy matters for the firm’s commercial practice.
Ms. Strickler was awarded her J.D. cum laude from American University Washington College of Law in May 2009. Ms. Strickler received her B.A. in Political Science and Spanish Language and Literature and an M.A. in Political Science from Villanova University.
During law school, Ms. Strickler worked as a student attorney in the Washington College of Law General Practice Clinic where she advocated before the District of Columbia Court of Appeals against the forced arbitration of consumer disputes. Ms. Strickler also served as a legal intern in the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice and for the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia. Ms. Strickler is a member of the District of Columbia and Virginia Bar.
